I had a 1gb hard drive fail, and replaced it with this 2gb hard drive. It is
an additional hard drive used primarily for music and document storage.
i have no problems with read/write times, and it performs fine for my needs.

Overall, i really like this unit. The only issue I currently have is with appradio, and my phone. (nexus 6p.) I am still working on this. And it is fussy as to what is on a usb stick or poor quality usb cables.
Android auto works better than i hoped, and you can run other audio apps in the background to listen to, you are not locked into the android auto only apps. bluetooth is clear, and overall this is a very solid unit.

Only complaint is it is unreadable in sunlight. (Common for android watches.) Vibration alerts let me keep alerts and ringtones low, and glancing at my watch for call/message details lets me know what's up. I was able to pick a display large enough to easily read without my glasses for daily use, but can quickly change it if I want. Phone disconnect lets me know if I'm leaving my phone behind with a vibration.

how does the pny 32GB attach to the computwer? Does the gray end come off?
It plugs into a USB port. The end slides back, staying on the stick.

PNY 64gb USB 3.0 model P-FD64GTBOP-GE, 93000108G-B-64GTBPUS
New drive is not recognize in windows 7 computer. Tried three different ports. Red internal LED flashes continually. Smaller 16gb USB 3.0 flash memory modules work where the new 64gb flash drive is not recognized. Tried formatting the flash drive -- no luck. Tried 3 different windows 7 computers. Also tried it on an ASUS F3Sseries laptop, same problem. Probably is a simple problem I cannot solve. Thankyou.
I have used it in multiple windows 7 desktops, a windows 7 laptop, an XP laptop, and a windows 10 preview laptop with no problems.
