This TV has a DVD player built in so there are no messy cables. The picture is great. The TV is priced right and makes a good TV for a bedroom or study.

The 'Auto Channel' setup didn't find anything. Can I pick up local channels without an antenna? If so, how do I set it up?

You need an antenna to pick up a signal. The TV has instructions that show where the antenna gets hooked up to.
