I have installed more than 50 SSDs in the last year, and I now only use Samsung. Others have various performance issues. I have not had a single complaint from my clients and the install goes easily with only the rare exception.

I installed this drive in a cheap netbook I use regularly (SATA2). It made a huge difference in boot time even though I am not able to make use of the drive's full performance. Write times seem to be a bit slower than othe brands though, hence the 4-star instead of 5.

Does this work with in a MacBook Pro mid-2009?
I have installed this into a Macbook. I had no problems. Use something like SuperDuper! to clone your drive using a USB-to-SATA cable.

Does it come with the necessary Sata 3 cable and caddy? If not, how can I get them for my laptop? Also, if I have windows 10 on my computer from an upgrade, will it change back to Windows 8.1 or will the clone software take care of that?
It does not come with a SATA cable. If you are installing it in your laptop, you generally install it in-place of your hard drive. I would suggest a USB-to-SATA cable to clone the hard drive onto the SSD first, before trying to install it into your laptop. You will not need the USB-to-SATA cable after cloning is complete. The drive comes with a CD containing the transfer software, but I would suggest downloading it from Samsung's website instead. Do not use the software that comes with the USB-to-SATA cable, use Samsung's.

can I connect this speaker to my old I-pod. I am looking for a portable speaker for both my iphone 5s, and my vintage I pod.
Yes, it has the ability to connect by wire if you can't connect through Bluetooth.
