Other reviews are correct. The top takes a dedicated cleaning every time you use it with a soft scrubber pad, special cleaners, or a light power buffer! The front vent belts out so much heat I had to prop open the back door while cooking our turkey. But it works great, heats up quick, has a lot of features, and looks great when it's clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will this oven need to be vented?

My current slide-in range has a downdraft that vents to the outside of the house. Will this oven need to be vented as well? It doesn't appear to have a downdraft, so I wasn't sure.
I had a Jenaire that was center vented to outside and now with this range I have no vent at all. It will have to be added somehow overhead in the future. Pan searing and frying bacon or fish creates quite a mess in the air that needs to be cleaned up somehow or vented outside. With nothing, the house smells for days, and kitchen will get greasy.

can i use any cookware in and on this oven

No. As with any range on the market, you have to know your cookware's restrictions. It's not the range that will make the difference, it's the cookware.
