After doing research for an optical drive for my iMac I decided to go with the SuperDrive. At first i did not want to go with this optical drive i was looking at cheaper drives but after reading all the reviews and knowing the reliability of Apple products is what sold me on the more expensive drive.

It's a stylus. It is easy to use and it nice and compact. Easy to hold and it works just fine. It should come with a little string holder just in case you want to attach it to the audio jack of your electronics.
