This tablet is a great buy at the price. It has plenty of power to handle any applications for music, art, video editing. I was able to run Photoshop, Premiere Elements and Reaper on the TabPro. It's very light weight, has beautiful graphics, and a perfect size. I much prefer the TabPro to the Surface Pro 4. The keyboard is solid unlike the Microsoft keyboard for the Surface, which I did'nt care for. The only problem I had with the TabPro was that it only offered USB C ports. I have since discovered there are many USB C hubs to support any peripherals you may have with the older connectors.

I have an ipad retina and I wasn't able to get this to work with it. When I bought the Apple Pencil I didn't notice anything saying it was strictly for use with the iPad Pro. When I got the product and opened it up it was clearly, plainly stated inside the packaging, on instructions, that this was for use with iPad Pro.

I was hoping for a way to mirror my mac screen. This does streaming video much as any other unit of this type. The mirroring works on some applications, though, not very many. This is a good way to get streaming video for $35.

I'm on my third Roku. I keep giving them to friends and updating. They are a breeze to install, they play smoother than any of the others I have tried, have a better channel selection then most.
I've tried the Apple TV, it tend to stutter and lock up.
The Boxee tv was a nightmare to setup
Google tv when it first came out and it was hard to setup and froze quite a bit.
ROKU, truly plug and play, never freezes or stutters and they are constantly adding new features to it.

How would this configuration with the Intel HD Graphics 620 and 16 GB of RAM handle playing Xbox Play Anywhere games like Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3 and Halo Wars 2?
I have had this little gem for 2 weeks now. This is the 5th tablet - 2 in 1 that I've tried and I don't think there is much this little laptop can't handle.
My main machine is a 2017 iMac 27" but, I needed something portable for video editing when traveling.
So far I've used the 13" Spectre X360 for Final Cut Pro / Adobe Premiere for youtube videos (youtube.com/daerney) and Logic Pro X / Studio 3 / Reaper for sound mixing, recording, editing. I've also been able to use a Presonus AR12 Mixing board that configured flawlessly with this little gem.
My website, deberney.com, is specifically geared towards musicians - videographers. Most of the content on my youtube.com/daerney channel are music and review videos.
I also have a series on youtube.com/c/rvingminstrel that is a video morning letter to family and friends of travels, adventures, and day to day rants.
All of this video editing takes A LOT of processing power and this little laptop does it all faster than my iMac, without a hiccup.
This has been tested with all of the above programs which are extensive memory hogs, drawing with sketchpad and Adobe Photoshop Elements. I've been playing Wild West:New Frontier which has quite a bit of 3D graphics. Haven't tried any action games on it.
I would also suggest a look at the Dell Inspiron 7000 and XPS series. I tried out the Inspiron 7000 and it met all of my performance requirements but, didn't have the active screen I needed for my drawing/painting applications.
The Dell XPS is highly rated for gamers and it may also be something to look at.

In live band setting can I connect the cameras audio to the mixing board
The USB port can be used with separately purchased 3.5 stereo mic adapter. The camera is really small, I'd be afraid of blowing out the audio with output from mixing board.
I have used my gopro to record live performances. I record the video with GoPro and audio with Zoom H5 (mixer out to H5) with really nice results. I've recorded acoustic sets using GoPro only and was able to get good sound after mixing audio with Logic Pro (QuickTime will separate audio file then import into DAW of choice then bring the mixed audio back into the video.) I usually post videos once a week on https://www.deberney.com and will be posting some of the music videos taken with the GoPro.
It's really easy to setup and forget about it as you can get your various angles and close ups through your video editor.

Does this work on nas server larger than 2TB?
Read a few comments that this does not work on hard drives larger than 2tb. I have a nas that's 3tb. Can anyone confirm whether this would work? Thanks.
This works as a live streaming video device. Gets the channel video from the Internet. This has no storage nor will it allow you to store anything from it. The only inputs on it are electric, HDMI, USB for reading only. Some of the lower models have RCA connectors.

Can you record shows on DVR?
I have Verizon Fios DVR and wants to get Roku for additional channels. Can Roku shows be recorded? If not, what else do I need to buy to record?
No. Roku has not outputs.

Is there a subscription fee to watch the "1,500 entertainment channels" advertised in the Product Features section?
.....and what are some of those "entertainment channels?" CBS, NBC, etc; or something else?
It may have access to these channels but the content may not be worth watching. You can get access to anything on tv but some require a subscription. Kind of like watching YouTube.com (which is also available on Roku for free).
You may want to look at HULU.COM. Hulu provides major network programs within a day of original airing. It costs $8?? A month and has advertisements.
