Nikon - ML-L3 Wireless Remote - Black
Operate your compatible Nikon camera at a distance with this Nikon ML-L3 4730 wireless remote, which features immediate-release and 2-second-release modes and a 16' range for flexible shot composition.
I was told a long time ago that the 3rd party remotes and the Nikon MLL3 were if the same quality. I used a off name brand remote for a long time. I accidentally left mine at home on a trip and stopped at Best Buy where I was to buy a new one for my night photography trip. I noticed a humongous difference in response time and distance! I can use the Nikon remote twice the distance of the previous remotes I've used. Which sometimes can make or break a photo shot. I'll never go back to a off brand remote again. This remote is so much better than anything I've used! Not to mention the batteries last longer in the Nikon remote than the off brands I've used in the past.

Manfrotto - 60" Compact Action Tripod - Black
Snap steady shots with your compatible DSLR camera using this Manfrotto MKCOMPACTACN-BK tripod that extends up to 60" and folds down to 17.8" for compact storage. A quick-release plate and locking system allow simple attachment, removal and adjustment.
I recently was in need of a new tripod when mine broke during a photoshoot in Charleston SC. I saw several good reviews for this tripod online. Some mixed, a few negative. But I figured I'd give the manfrotto a try. I was beyond pleased. This tripod is light enough to carry cross body 5 miles of rough and strenuous trails to waterfalls and mountains vistas. I set it up and took some amazing photos. The controls are Amazing and allow for fluid motion and seem less movement. I was able to take video with little to no camera shake. I especially love the camera setting or video setting. I wish I could add a video to this review to show how amazing it really is. But I give this tripod a huge A+++
Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Standard Lens: Whether you're a beginner or professional, you'll love this compact, lightweight lens from Nikon. The normal angle of view captures approximately what the human eye sees, making it a great all-around lens. Plus, the f/1.8 maximum aperture is ideal for creating softly blurred backgrounds and shooting in low light.
I used this as a point & shoot for basic travel shots and even portraits. It's not the most expensive lens out there but it will perform just as well as a higher end 1.8

Will holding the shutter release button down on this remote work in bulb mode like it works holding the shutter release button down on the d3400 in BULB mode? I ask so that I can control the time in bulb mode without shaking the camera by using its button
I too use the bulb function a lot, and it's a single press for opening the shutter. then a second press to end the shutter.

Will this tripod hold a Nikon 3100, with a 200 mm lens steady?
Yes I use my manfrotto with my Nikon D5300 & Nikkor 70-300mm lens. While it does hold the weight quite well I would be sure to use a counterweight for extra center pull. I use my camera pack. And I always make sure I have a leg out in front of the camera in the direction I am shooting to compensate for the lens weight. Hope this answer helps.

can i do panoramic without it moving vertically ?
I want it to pan left and right and not up and down. I see the feature that keeps it from going side to side but want to lock it from going up and down.
Yes it has a camera switch and video switch. One allows fluid movements in all directions the other restricts to up down and side to side.

Is the head easy to remove and replace?
Yes, it's actually very easy. I believe it's a 3/4 screw on attachment.
