Initially I thought I had a problem w/ the wifi, turns out it was my wireless router that needed a firmware upgrade so... if your having issues w/ wifi connections, make sure you get second opinions by attempting a friend/relative home router etc. or back at the store you purchased from. Really Love the TV's features and quality of picture... Initially the open box unit shipped to me w/ out a neck to mount the TV to the base... from emailing the tech support folks and talking w/ the local store they were able to get me a display models unused neck and it worked perfectly... techs/sales staff went above and beyond!!!

How to connect Wireless Internet?
When I tried to connect my TV with existing Wifi network, it could not detect the network. I tried to follow the process of Hidden Network, still it did not work. I am using Netgear WGR614V10 Router and carrier is Charter. Please let me know whether this router is compatible.
I initially had problems w/ my Belkin F5D8236-4 v3000 Router which is an N type router... turns out after I did a firmware update on the router it worked just fine... so before you point to the TV try a friend/relative's router or go back to the store and have them check it there...

Does this set stream Netflix prime movies?
not sure what Netflix prime is but we are able to stream Netflix... Pandora Youtube iHeartradio...

Can I get local channels with Antenna?
I don't have cable so I need to use an antenna to get local channels. Can I do that with this tv?
I live in Central Maine and I get ABC/NBC/CBS/PBS/FOX so about 18 channels just fine, stations are about 60miles away w/ a 1987 Radio Shack Antenna... No problems.

can i hook up an old vcr to this tv
I would say yes, as we hook up our Wii to it using the A/V outputs of the Wii to the composite inputs...

how is the sound on this tv?
Do you need a sound bar ? our couch is only about 10 feet from the tv, a fairly average sized room.
Well I would say no, though if we do stream Pandora we feed it to our stereo system... though normal tv content volume is sufficient....
