What's great about it: Aides the awful tv speaker
What's not so great: Sub fades in and out at times
This unit will not blow you away. However it is perfect if you want to listen to TV and have a decent sound without breaking the bank.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am an athletic official/ref, and I sometimes have to dig into a pile of players or break up potential fights. Would I have to worry about this getting damaged beyond something that would obviously damage just about anything?

Do not buy this if you plan to wear it and dig into a pile of players or break up a tussle. The locking mechanism consists of only one nub and opens very easy. If you don't plan on stopping the game and have everybody help find your $200 device, save your money. If Samsung releases a new band for the device that actually secures it to your wrist then you may consider the purchase.

No remote included. What do i do?

Should of came with remote, go back to Best Buy and make have them complete your purchase.
