can we hookup our computer to this tv?
we have a 50" flat screen samsung that we use as a computer monitor. we can print etc. is there an input we can use for this purpose? your specs say no pc input. we have a wireless printer hooked up to our computer. can you print from the tv browser?
Yes, I hooked up my PC directly from my video card (HDMI out to the HMDI input on TV to use as a monitor. They do make DVI to HDMI adapters though I'm not sure if there is any quality degradation with sound and/or video using an adapter to make the connection. I do have a fairly high end (custom built) gaming PC with high end video cards but as long as you have DVI or HDMI output from your PC video, you should be able to connect to an HDMI port on the TV. You can find the DVI/ VGA to HDMI adapters online or perhaps even your local Best Buy, Radio shack, etc. If you're just looking to use as a monitor then you can use your standard input (Keyboard and Mouse) to navigate your PC for printing etc. The TV is just acting as your monitor so once you find a way to connect to the TV, the TV should not be any different then if you were hooked up to a computer monitor. It may be more awkward using your PC on such a large "monitor" but if your TV room allows, it may be easier if you purchase a wireless mouse and keyboard to allow you to sit further back from the TV/ PC for viewing comfort. In regards to printing...again, your TV is just replacing your monitor so nothing changes in regards to using a mouse and keyboard. Hope this helps.
