I LOVED the Edge. It was sleek and beautiful. HOWEVER, I need a case on my phone. I had purchased a couple different cases and they all cover the edge. Ones that didn't weren't worth it because they didn't offer any protection - hence useless. So once you cover up the edge ...on the Edge...you might as well get the un-Edge S6. Which is what I did. I ended up trading it in. Why cover up all the fun stuff with a case?
Sliding in from the side to get your easy favorite contact list wasn't as easy as they picture it on the commercial. But after a bit I got the hang of it. The "nightlight" feature was pretty cool but without my glasses...that was a useless feature too! Ha! Fuzzy time is no time. I didn't have it long enough to set up new feeds and the like. I think I did the texts a little but again, I had a case on it most the time. When I was at my desk I would pop the case off but if I had to walk around even two steps that case went right back on! And forget a screen protector. I didn't get it but the reviews were consistent in that it peels up on the edges so much it was useless. So for me, the neat stuff you gain with the Edge didn't pan out for me because protection is more important to me.
But it IS a beautiful phone that is sleek and brings envy. I would recommend it but with all the caveats mentioned above. If you aren't a case person, you can ROCK this phone.
As far as brand? Well Sammy is on top of the game right now. The camera is spectacular. The beautify feature is awesome! goodbye pimples! HA! It's very clear and the double click of the home key even if the phone is hibernating brings the camera right up. You don't have to fumble around for the camera app. It has a ton of features in the camera but I'm not a novice so all that stuff is foreign to me.
The other feature I LOVE is that I can talk and be online clicking away without hanging up. Or texting even taking and sending pictures while talking. It also has a double screen feature. I haven't used that much yet - mainly because I forget I have it. It's new to me - something I always wished I had so I need to remember so I can use it! Sound quality is good - even speakerphone is clear.
I'm not a big fan of the hard click-home key but I'm getting use to it. We are getting used to touch screen so I don't know why they still have this hard key. ugh
OHHHH!!!! Almost forgot!! WIRELESS CHARGING! YAY!!! Saves on the charger port which we've all had to replace before. I LOVE IT! I have a TYLT. It's a little pricey - but find it online. I think I paid $50 for mine, but LOVE IT! IT had the top ratings for wireless charging. The tilted stand is awesome. I have one by my bed and on my desk and in my chair in the living room. I just set it down and it's charging. I have watched movies on it which is way cool! So you won't run your battery down because not only is it tilted so you can watch - it's charging while you do it! Sorry, I digress to a review on Tylt! Ha! But the wireless charging feature of the S6 is off the chain. I love it. No more fumbling with a wire and plugging in. (Trident even makes a Qi charging cup - sits right in your cup holder!!)
I'm not a geek-girl so I can't speak to much of the other techie functions on the phone. The processor does what I need it to.
Overall, Sammy rocked it!

I love Trident and am a repeat customer. I wish the pink was more pastel, but hey. I love that the case is hard so it doesn't get dingy like other cases. Couple it with a Zagg and you're in. The outside is slick so slipping it inside a jean pocket is super smooth yet not too slippery that it will fall right out. This one seems a little slimmer than my previous ones, but maybe it's just the fit on the phone. I moved from a Droid to a Samsung S6 so it just feel thinner. The quality is the same - hard outside with the rubber insole. I like that the corners are rubbery because that seems to always hit the floor first. I drop my phone umpteem times a day...or rather hour it seems. I guess because I have a case on it I put little to no thought about it. It's in my lap-I stand up-BAM. I get out of the car-BAM-asphalt bound. Don't forget a QUALITY screen protector though. Don't skimp on a cheap one - you get what you pay for. I've always used Zagg. Go online and get it tho-the upcharge in the stores is outlandish. Between the Zagg and Trident case your phone is protected from the brutal abuse. I had my Droid for 2 years. I always purchase my case first (online) and once I receive it then I go get my phone. I don't walk a single step without a case on it. I wash the case really good in soapy water and let it dry overnight probably once a month. (OCD I know) Or if you can't wait use a blowdryer on LOW. Just make sure it's good and dry before putting your phone back in it. But when I upgraded, my Droid still looked brand new when I took it out of the Trident case. It ROCKS and you can't beat it. The pricing on them has come down - they used to be $50+ but now they're competitive. Again, get it online at ....you know! There are several options in this brand. If you need more rugged protection they have it and boy does it look tough! A little pricier the tougher you get but remember, you get what you pay for and a phone is an investment these days. Protect it like one......and Trident will do that for you!!

This is my daughters case and the sound quality on my end sucks! She LOVE LifeProof as she's had the case on all of her fruit phones. But this one is just not rockin it. She's returned it and tried a different one thinking maybe it was a quality issue but it's the same. When inquiring further she's been told "that's a known issue for this case". WTH?! Seriously? Lifeproof - come on...you can do better! So she ends up taking the case off if she's going to talk a long time. She tried just popping open the plug cover thing but that didn't work. She loves the case EXCEPT that part - which is crucial. She is brutal on her cases - but Lifeproof stands up to her beatings. The last one she had was barely still alive but even then was still very protective of her phone. She never put it under water so she can't attest to that function. Just the repeated drop-abuse it suffered kept her phone new and shiny. If you want to protect your phone for awesome retail value - this is the case. Hopefully they work out the quirks with the whole sound quality cuz that is poor.
The other thing she said sucks is that she wanted a black case but not the smokey protection screen...but there wasn't that option. LP - you know there is a shiny gold fruit! Why would you make a smokey screen cover so people can't show off the bling?! Come on...

The product itself it typical OTTER-like. The protection it provides it very good. I drop my phone ALL the time. I guess because I know it's covered I am more careless with it. I set it in my lap and constantly stand up forgetting it and it falls...floor, concrete, yard...doesn't matter. The built-in screen helps secure it further from scratches; however, I find it lessens the touchiness of the screen. I find myself having to press harder for response than I have in the past with products like Zagg. The MAIN issue I have is it's a dirt magnet. It does NOT stay pretty pink long at all. I am a jeans-pocket girl and it started turning blue on the edges within a week. I soaked it in Dawn overnight and it still wouldn't come clean...and Dawn cleans everything! The power/volume buttons were a little harder to press than I like, but was willing to work with that IF it would stay pink. ugh So I ultimately went back to my Trident case. It's a hot pink, which I prefer the bubblegum/pastel better. But Trident case is just as durable and trustworthy and the case doesn't soak up my blue jeans! Truthfully, I only switched to OTTER for the pink color - but switched right back because I wear blue jeans every single day so this was a no brainer. I didn't want bluepink - just pink.
So my rating is STRICTLY for cosmetic reasons - not functionality. The sea puppy has a great reputation for quality but if you're going to go for color, PINK lovers united want PINK to stay PINK.

What's not so great: Steam buttons a little awkward to use. Cord placement on the iron got in the way a couple of times.
This iron is light and not bulky. It got hot enough to crease quickly and get into the tight corners of my shirts easily. Nice long cord; however, it got in the way a couple times.

The hard, pointed plastic at the top made it hard to hold tight to my face to talk. My ear would be red when I would get off the phone. I found myself holding the phone a little away from my ear to talk. Ridiculous. I took it back.

What's great about it: I love Siri! Helps with hands free driving...and when I'm too lazy to type.

What's not so great: The top edge on the front seemed very sharp. It hurt my ear to hold it close. I returned it and bought a Trident case.
I couldn't tuck it under my chin and talk with no hands as the plastic on the top edge seemed sharp. It hurt my ears all the time.
