Large size is great but is being discontinued

The set is great, I love the extras large capacity. It helps me keep up with the laundry in less time. We had to take out the laundry room door to bring it in. However, the set is being discontinued and I was fortunate to be able to buy the matching dryer on display at my local Best Buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How wide does the door swing? Will it swing a full 180 degrees from its closed position?

It it doesn't fully swing out to 180. I'd say 120-130 degrees

At the beginning of the spin you will hear some noise but as it gets faster it's not really loud
