What's great about it: Easily Installed

The Rocketfish - Low-Profile Tilting Wall Mount for Most 32" to 70" Flat-Panel TVs - Black is as advertised. It was very easy to self install on an older flat panel TV. Plenty of mounting hardware included, so I didn't have to make an extra trip to the hardware store.

What's great about it: easy to set up, easy to use

i needed additional storage space for movies so i could view on my ipad on an international flight. this hdd is so easy to use with my ipad, it was good for at least 6 hours, which was half the flight time. i would recommend as a exteranal memory for you ipad for movies, photos and music.

Does this drive operate as a bluetooth type of device?

I have an iPad4 w/o 4g capability. Can I access content on this drive w/o having wi-fi or internet connection? In other words, can you access your files through a bluetooth connection?

no you cannot access via bluetooth. you access this drive via wifi. i use it with my wifi ipad mini.

Can a camera upload via the usb directly? I'll also be using an Ipad but it would make photo backup easier.

no. you can only add or delete files via a wired connection to a computer.

Can I use this device without being conneected to the internet?

yes. you access the drive via wifi. therefore you cannot access this device and the internet at the same time.

yes. i used the on board battery to watch movies on my ipad for about 6 hours.

no fee service. you access your files via wifi. with a password, only you can access the drive.

Does the device work via battery power?

How long does the battery last? I'd like to be able to use this on road trips. Will I need to have it plugged in for it to work. Where would I find a car charger?

the battery lasted about 6 hours watching movies on my ipad. it comes with a usb charger, so i supposed if your car adapter put out enough power, you could charge it.
