What's great about it: Price
What's not so great: Wish the reach was longer
I use this mount to support the 40" monitor at work. Works great just wished that the reach was longer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Are there any problems mounting this to a brick wall? If not, will I need to buy separate anchors or will they come with it?

Yes you can mount to a brick wall. It has the fasteners included for masonry walls.

I have metal studs not wood studs. Will the 5/16" x 2-3/4 lag bolt provided still work or do i need a different type of bolt?

No. You may could use a fine threaded fastener but I would recommend a toggle bolt for extra assurance. Not knowing the gauge of the metal studs go with the toggle bolts to be safe.
