Hello, I would like to know if the Nest outdoor cam is a good choice in comparison to the outdoor cameras through ADT Pulse? I have read that ADT does not monitor the cameras they installed and this prompted me to select Nest instead.
Nest outdoor is 1080p, so it is either the same or better than ADT. Nest cameras are not monitored,but they have very nice software that sends you push notification almost instantly when motion or/and person is detected. If you don't want to be bothered by every movement thst camera detects, you can set only certain zones or just disable this function. Just don't forgrt that in order to get this notifications you have to subscrive for Nest Aware. $10 per month for 1st camera and $5 for every aditional one.
