I have 4 AppleTVs, 1 Roku Stick, 1 Roku 3, 1 Amazon FireTV Stick and 2 Amazon Fire TV... I love the Amazon Fire TV the most b/c I like the interface, I am a Prime Member so everything comes free and easy on top of the subscription and I can sideload XBMC to it. They also have a Slingbox native client which is fully functional right from the remote and I personally need it b/c I have a Slingbox box in my home country and I can watch TV from there in a most convenient way.
I also like the voice search. There's a lot to add but all in all it is a great streaming box.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am not sure one needs to explain why they bought this laptop. It is Apple. It is Macbook Pro. The question is where to buy. Best Buy does have the best price out there that I could find, and I am also getting money back as part of the rewards program. That's a great plus.

I love the Sharp brand for TVs. They bought Pioneer's division for screens and that's what makes them one of the top brands for TVs today. The TV itself is great. I thought my Roku Stick would work with it natively but it did not. Of course you can use it, but the TV remote does not operate it and I thought it would. Still... that's not the reason I bought this TV. The combination of 40", Sharp brand, 120Hz (as opposed to all others which are 60Hz) and the great price on Best Buy, did the trick.

I love the metal box. The movie is one of the best ones I have seen. Our whole family loves it. I recommend buying the 3D version, of course. It is a collectible item and can only be found on Best Buy.

Why Is A Soundbar Needed

I would like why ever one that review the This Sharp TV claims that it needs a Soundbar !

When you pay a nice price for any TV you should not have to go out and spend at least $100-$150.00 for a soundbar. Please help
I don't have a sound bar and the sound is just fine. We are using it in our bedroom. Fantastic TV

can you get nbc,cbs,fox etc.

You can try side loading XBMC Kodi to it and from there start reading the forums, etc., to find how you can get live TV channels from many places in the world, including the USA.

I have followed all directions but get no smart tv it just goes back to station that was on tv when starting this process...

can't fiigure out what I am doing wrong. I have 4 HDMI ports. My cable box is plugged into #2. I plugged FireTV into #4. Does this make a difference?
Shouldn't make any difference. Any HDMI input should work. Make sure the Amazon Fire TV is powered on and connected on the box side.
