Some mailings with your name on it is a very thin vinyl or plastic wrapping. I have destroyed two shredders, when I inadvertently tried to shred them,

how long can you shred before it shuts down and how long do you have to wait before you can reuse it
You should oil shredder blades every every 50 shreds to not over heat motor and keep blades from getting dull.
