It does the job and looks fine. My only problem is reading the buttons; Small print on black buttons require a light shining directly at the control panel to see well enough to choose an option.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does the microwave have "feet"? If so, how shallow a shelf can the microwave be placed upon?

The feet are 9 1/2" apart, front to back (depth). They are 15 1/2" apart side to side (width).

Does the light stay ON when you open the door ?

i.e, after microwave has finished...
Yes, the light stays on when the door is opened, no matter if it's just paused or if the time is finished.
