If you read the series of books, you might be a bit disappointed. For those who thought that they would watch the movie because they were too lazy to read the books, you might be a bit disappointed. If you have no expectations, the move is a good one. I feel sorry for the women who read the books and then watched the movie and might have been let down. Watch the movie, then read the books is the best way to get the best experience.

I'm not a Halo enthusiast, but I thought I would check this movie out. At first I was excited to see what it is all about, this Halo excitement. I was disappointed with the story line and the plot a bit confusing at times. I would not recommend this one. If you are a Halo enthusiast, you might like it.

The Exodus movie really brings the Old Testament to life. Christian Bale does an amazing job as Moses. No one can image how the story of Exodus played out in reality, but this movie can lead to a discussion about the movie versus the Old Testament version. What would you do, if this happened during our life time?

I'm suffering from Game of Thrones withdraw while waiting for the next season to start. I really enjoy the opening theme music which brings my memory back to the story. Some of the sound track tracks are just noise to me, but overall its a good listen. Try to figure out what's going on during each track.

Do have to connect 2 HDMI cables to have audio, can you just have 1 HDMI cable hooked up to the video input?

You only need the one HDMI cable for direct connection to the TV or to a Receiver that is connected to the TV. Some TV's do not have audio and support only picture and you need another device like a sound bar or external speaker system. So for those cases, they give you away to run one to the TV and one to a sound system (other than a Receiver).

As you state your question, no. If you have mp3 files on a DVR, you can use your DVD player on the computer and copy the files to the player using a USB cable (that you provide).

How. Do you load audio books?

I have loaded Amazon's audiobooks onto it. You have to use the Audible app on your computer to activate the device, then you are good to go with the Audible book. You can use the app to copy it to the device or copy it from the Audible download manager. I have not downloaded kindle books, but it must work similarly.
