What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Keys quickly show fingertip smudges
Used on my Surface Pro 2. At first I had a touch keyboard. While it worked okay, it lacked any tactile feedback. The type keyboard provides that feedback while barely being thicker than the touch keyboard. Nice backlit keys awaken with just a brush over the keyboard. With a tablet with touch and a stylus, the touchpad is unnecessary. That space could have been used differently.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this as an upgrade from an APC E350. I've had it for 10 years and it has worked great when needed. I needed more outlets, so I got this one. There is plenty of space between the outlets to plug in devices with the transformer at the plug.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Admittedly these are not Oscar-material movies, but my kids had not seen them and having all 4 movies together kept the kids entertained and behaved during a long car trip. Actually contains 4 discs, not 2 as listed.

Does it have a power outage alarm/beep?

My present battery back-up system has a piercing beep that sounds every minute or two while the power is out. Very disturbing, especially middle of night. Does the APC-Back-UPS 700VA Battery Back -Up System have an alarm system of any sort, and if so, what?

Is this compatible with Mac OS 10.2.8 and higher?

It's a backup power supply. Doesn't matter what your operating system is.

I have a back-up generator for my office, however when power goes out and switches to the generator, my computer turns off and won't turn back.

So I can not access my computer remotely, will this keep the computer on without shutting down?
This is designed to operate your computer for long enough to shut it down properly. Should give about 1 hour of operating time depending on how much is plugged in to it..
