Connected mine to my older JVC home stereo amp. Plugged in the phono input and plays through the speakers throughout the house. Able to play music from my music app on my phone and tablet. On my stereo I have to keep the "app" volume down so it doesn't distort, but able to control the volume on the stereo.

Headsets work very well. Blocks out surrounding noise in the room and mic quality gets favorable reports from others I play online with. I like the square shaped headset, I find them more comfortable than others.

My Bose surround system has two inputs for left and right. Will this work?
You just need a splitter cable that goes from the 3.5 connector on the Chromcast to the two type of inputs that your Bose has (I'm guessing they are RCA type inputs, at least that's what is on my Bose radio).

Does this San Disk model have a password protection entry?
The SanDisk drives I've purchased recently have a secure app like program on them tht you can set up with a password. Then you can drag your files into that folder and those files will be protected. When you oppen the flash drive, you run the SanDisk secure folder and enter your password to access that folder. You can also use the flash drive and not use the secure folder, so you can have files that are secured and files that can be accessed by anyone.
