It is amazing that Apple has not found a way to make better cables. I am sure we are all aware of the issues with all these cables by the lightning end. I feel that this is their way of making reoccurring revenue for their products.

The product looks nice and the manufacturer presents itself has a good product. Be careful of the camera cover area on the back of the phone. That area is built poorly and comes off very easily.

How do I connect this cable to my Tv or cable box or to the home theater system to hear the tv
The back of your TV should have and Audio Output port. One end goes in there. On the stereo one of the media choices (SAT, TV, DVD...) should have an audio in. Connect the other end there. You may have to program your stereo to use the optical audio port for the media choice you plugged it into.
