Picture quality is phenomenal. OLED has infinite contrast since black pixels are completely off. Chose this over a 4k set and have no regrets. I could definitely live without the curve which may contribute to how reflective the set is. In 2015 it is believable that LG sets don't allow IP control to turn the set on. Also I have never been able to connect using the LG app that claims to support the set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

can you use a universal remote?

Can you recommend a universal remote for this TV? If so what do you recommend?
Yes. I picked up a one for all remote for about $25 and can control with TiVo remote.
