I have this mounted over a bookcase, now want to put my sound bar on the bookcase but under my TV. Can I raise this mount (already installed on the wall)with my TV about an inch easily to make room for the sound bar - without re-hanging the mount?

You should only have to remove the top screws to the mount and the loosen the bottom screws and the move the bracket to the position you need
