Basically an excellent portable hard drive for storage needs.
I use it to store various media items on it because of capacity.
Will most likely at some point purchase another one as well.

Does EXACTLY what I needed it for. Allows me to charge my smartphone anywhere. Be it in my car, or in a building (at least as long as there is an available outlet, of course).

These speaker work exactly how I needed them to work!
Hooked up to my PC's built in sound card (which can handle up to 7.1) and configured sound and awesome. BOTH in Win 7 Ultimate and Linux!

do you need cable to get this? I don’t want any csble, just internet access

Nope, just DSL service from your phone company is all.

Will this work with Lumos networks high speed DSL?

Well, from the initial look at this document:
https://rsb.lumosnetworks.com/sites/default/files/pdf/dsl_instru.pdf

I would say yes. BUT, please remember the caveats:
1. Neetwork CANNOT be a bonded one, and
2. Can be ADSL2+ or VDSL.

But, as I stated, from initial read through of that document, it should work.

will this external drive work with windows on ASUS desktop computer?

As long as it is supported by Windows version used, as it is basically an USB 3 drive but is backwards compatible with usb 2.0.
But, yes, I'd say as long as Windows 7 and above it will work quite well.

Are the satellite speakers wireless? If not how long are the wires?

No not wireless. But speaker cable lengths are as follow (per mfg site):

FRONT: 2 meters (approx. 6.5 ft.)
REAR: 5 meters (approx. 16.4 ft.)
CENTER: 2.7 meters (approx. 8.8 ft.)
ACCESSORY CABLES (to hook to pc): 2 meters (approx. 6.5 ft.)
