What's great about it: Smooth performance
What's not so great: No problems as yet.
The drive sets up simply. There is an Apps setup file on the disk for Windows or Mac. The performance is smooth and you can't beat the capacity. Very happy so far with limited time of possession. No negatives to speak of. I would definitely buy this drive again.
This product has... Fast, Attractive design/portable, Quiet, Large capacity/good size
About me... Budget Conscious, Gamer, Need a simple backup solution

can this simply be used for extra storage

Im not getting this to just have my files backed up..my reason for purchase is simply to gain plenty of extra storage.
