What's great about it: big enough for my Inspiron 17
What's not so great: no extra pockets for papers
I wore out my Targus bag, so I purchased this one for my new Dell. It is light and carries the laptop and chill mat, and just a few accessories. I wish it had a couple of extra pockets (paper-sized), but overall, it meets my needs.

What's great about it: simple, like the small USB dongle.
What's not so great: I forget to turn it off, no ON LED indicator after it powers on.
I like the feel of the Logitech mouse (mice, I have owned others). Track wheel is very sensitive, I need to find in W8 if it can be slowed down. I also bought one for my wife - pick your design. Functions the same. I like it.

Simple design, not much to say. It uses up one of my laptop USB ports. It could include other USB ports to host other peripherals... It fits in my laptop bag, small enough to pack. Nice little unit...

What's great about it: good layout and great monitor.
What's not so great: shiny keys even with backlighting are tough to read. W8.
OK, I am a W7 bigot. If I could have bought this Inspiron 17 with W7, it would get excellent ratings. W8, even with the update to W8.1 does not have a laptop look-and-feel. It feels like MS tried to make a laptop OS behave like a smartphone. It does not. Hardware is great (mostly), but the arrangement of the function keys is non-intuitive. Last laptop was a Dell Precision M4500, felt very comfortable. I will get used to the change eventually. Includes the DVD in the chassis, nice, and what I require. I use a mouse, but the touchpad is fine, if you use it. OS is MS-W8... too bad... overall - a good solid laptop, if Dell can solve their heat-battery issues.

logitech wireless mouse 325
purchased 09-03-14. attempted to use 09-04-14. won't work. put in new battery. won't work. computer WIN 7 and currently using logitech wireless mouse mrby 125. can't see a reset button. am I supposed to download a new driver or something? Defective mouse?
I found with W8, that it wants the USB dongle plugged in BEFORE you power on the mouse. Try that.
