What's great about it: Love the color, overall looks and backlight. Compact. Great feel typing.
What's not so great: Mousepad is sometimes jerky and it's a tad overpriced
It's a necessary accessory to a brilliant machine. Works great for the most part, only occasional problems I have are with the mousepad being jerky. Could also cost less seeing as it's pretty much required for the complete Surface Pro experience.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No the pen comes with the tablet. It only comes with the pen loop.
