We live our Roku! We stream an educational channel (jw.org) and it comes in clearly and consistently. We had issues before trying to play it in our TV but this is so much better. Plus there are cooking channels, animal channels, and sports channels. Very nice to have easy access.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This adapter works very well but I am afraid I'm going to bend it or break it off because it sticks out pretty far. It's size limits where I can place my laptop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: This S pen fits and works perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 - was worried since it was an after-market purchase
What's not so great: No problems -- all great
I was impressed that Best Buy had this pen in the store. The salesperson took the time to find it for me (in the back) and it was not as expensive as I imagined it would be. Took it home, popped it out of the package, and it began -- and has continued -- to work perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

can a stylus be usedwith the galaxy 10.1 and if so which is best.

Use the Samsung one that's a replacement for the original. I've tried other, cheaper ones and they were awful.

Is there an app or setting you have to turn on when first using the S Pen with a Galaxy Note 10.1?

No app needed - it worked out of the box. And it fits perfectly in the slot.
