I don't understand why it is the last 4 cartridges have not lasted more than 50 pages. Is this an intentional play on the part of HP?

Will It Print Black and White Pages If a Color Is Empty?

I hate printers that won't let me.
I almost never use color but my Epson runs out of color for no reason then won't print.
I will never buy another printer that does that.

Yes it prints, but, shortly later the printer will default suggesting color be used also.
