I use the internet for streaming, Typically Netflix. I usually only have two devices connected at any given time. This seems to do the job very well. Not sure how it would do streaming to multiple sources at one time or with more than two devices at one time. It was very easy to set up for someone that is not exactly tech savvy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does this work with CenturyLink?

Century Link (in the area where I live) only provides DSL service which operates over a telephone line. This product is a cable modem so it operates thru a coax cable so this would not work with century link DSL service. You would need to look for a DSL modem/router

will it work with Comcast phone service?

I have Comcast x1 triple play package.
I have comcast cable internet service. this product works well for that. You would need to be paying for the Internet service thru Comcast in order to have internet service, if you are only paying for phone service this will not work
