These are reasonably comfortable to wear but the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired. Not terrible, but not great either. If you're listening to anything with a lot of bass at higher volumes the vibrations can be pretty annoying.

Over all, they're ok for listening to music when you need to be able to hear your surroundings, but they're not something I want to wear a lot.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
