piece of junk. don't waste your money. I got just 3 months out of warranty and it stopped working. lost a bunch of food. check out the reviews, the only ones Frigidaire replied to are the 5 star ratings. I'll never buy Frigidaire again! Best Buy couldn't do anything because I didn't purchase the extended warranty, though they did contact the manufacturer to see if anything could be done. They transferred me to Frigidaire who offered to cover the cost of parts but not labor. Who knows what that's gonna cost me. I guess it's partially my fault for not buying the extended warranty but then, my last freezer lasted over 30 years. I really didn't think I'd need one. I would give this 0 stars if I could. NEVER AGAIN!!

This has been a great unit. I use it pretty much year round. It's a little bit of a task to clean, but after the first couple times you get used to it and it goes a lot faster. Takes care of my whole living room.

Bought this for my wife who says she likes it. I had a slight issue with set up as I accidentally entered a wrong password during the activation process. The phone wouldn't allow me to get back to that screen and ended up continuing set up without activation. After contacting Sprint I learned that simply doing a restart got me back to the activation screen and everything was fine from there. I recently got the HTC-U11 and am very happy with that as I had less issues during set up. My wife is still figuring out how to change some things on the S8 as by default the clock stays on. If you're a Samsung fan I'm sure you'll be happy with this phone, but personally I'd still recommend the U11. After we spend more time with this phone I may come back here and update this review.

I've only had this a few days, and it's ok so far. Download speeds are slower than I expected (I have all high end routers and high speed Cable internet). Overall the processing speeds seem adequate.
One thing I have a big problem with is the drive separation/default save settings. The OS is on C (just over 100G available with OS being about 56G), open space for date is on D (just under 900G of space available), E is recovery and F is disc drive. By default everything saves to the C drive (I didn't realize this). After dropping in personal files like music, pics and docs I got a warning that the computer was slowing down because the drive was almost full. I had to go in and change all of the save settings and transfer all the files over from C to D drive. After that all was ok. It's flat out stupid that the factory doesn't default to save to the drive that was meant for saved data. My second issue is with the USB and other "available" ports. While it does present a cleaner finish (they are hidden by a "lip" off the front, they're inconvenient to access if you have anything over top of the computer (like most desks will have). I had to reconfigure my desk to provide access to the top of the computer, and even then I barely have enough room to reach those ports. I have to feel around to find them. I hope in the future they go back to just having little doors provide the cleaner finish so the ports are more user friendly.
Overall I still feel this is a decent computer as far as functionality and have had pretty good experiences with HP in the past. I feel this computer is decent enough for the average user such as myself who mostly does basic processing and video watching. I am not a gamer therefore I couldn't give an accurate review on how well that works. This computer does support 2 monitors (HDMI).

I opted for this monitor based on price. Overall it's not bad. Hookup was easy and it included everything you could possibly need (VGA, DVI and HDMI plus power cord). All that being said, the picture just isn't quite as good as my other monitor (HP 2509b). I'd still recommend this product especially when it's on sale.

I am comfortable with my current plan and this was very easy to do when I bought my new phone. However, since I am absorbing the entire cost of the phone I feel it's terrible that Sprint feels I'm "eligible" for an upgrade. If they were offering me some sort of discount, sure. I'm paying for the phone so Sprint hasn't given me anything as of yet (there is suppose to be some sort of loyalty credit, but I haven't seen it yet). Also, I had to pay $30 to activate the phone. Been with Sprint for 17 years, 5 stars for ease of keeping the plan, 1 star for not offering a deal on the "upgrade".

So I have been waiting for this phone for about 6 months and I couldn't be happier it's here. I've been using it for just over a week. It's so much faster then my old M9. Excellent picture taking ability. Integrated speakers are nice and loud. Headphones sound spectacular! The screen is beautiful. Bringing my old apps and files over from my old phone was a breeze with the HTC Tool. Battery life also seems much better than my old phone. The "HPUE" does appear to work as I've noticed what seems to be better reception. I haven't played around too much with the "edge sense' to be very detailed but I can tell you it does work. Apps run very fast and pages also load very quickly when browsing. I feel this is an excellent phone
All that being said, there are a few minor drawbacks present. I don't feel they are great enough to knock down the rating but nonetheless, they are there. First, the phone is so new you really have to shop around (I found decent ones on Amazon) to look for a screen protector and case (I'm sure these will be more readily available in time). Pricing, haven't really had too many deals for this phone. When I put my phone into my phone holder in my vehicle (it's a pressure device that "grabs the phone on both sides" it sometimes activates the edge sense. Finally, the single USB-C jack is a bit inhibiitive, you can't charge the phone and use headphones at the same time (no separate headphone jack).
Overall I am extremely satisfied with the phone and was lucky enough to catch it during the only time it's been on sale so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is it possible to get this phone without a sprint plan? I've been on ATT for over a decade. HTC's website says his phone is compatible on all networks, it would just have to be unlocked. I am hoping to use my best buy credit to get one of these phones.
This phone is set up for Sprint so no, it's not unlocked. HTC's site sells both the unlocked and the carrier specific models. I know what you mean as I was going to order this through HTC to get it earlier but held out until Best Buy had it so I could get the points on my Rewards account. Unfortunately you'll have to buy from another site (manufacturer's or otherwise) or play the waiting game to see if Best Buy is going to carry the unlocked version. In my opinion, don't hold your breath. If you look at what's offered from all the different manufacturers it seems like Best Buy isn't doing a whole lot with HTC. I could be wrong, again, just my opinion.

Can the Loyalty Credit be applied to phones purchased through Best Buy?
Yes, the loyalty credit automatically applies when you set the phone up. Shortly after you activate, you'll receive a text message from Sprint informing you to look for it within the next couple bills. I haven't actually seen it yet (I just activated my phone a week ago) but the message came in shortly after I activated the phone. There was nothing special I did, it just came in (I wasn't even expecting it). Hope this helps a little.
