I purchased this film, well, because I didn't get to see it with the wife and kids! They liked it and that was enough for me. I am glad that I did as it brought many smiles to all of us. The film has a wonderful message about family and value.

Amplify the sounds of your laptop or desktop with this subwoofer and satellite speakers that also feature a headphone jack for private listening.
My wife loves music but her laptop speakers just weren't doing the job. So I purchased this as a gift, hooked it up to her laptop (desk that she works from is in the center of the house, and boom, we have music! There is a lot of sound from these little speakers and they are often on sale. :-)

This series is a fantastic one filled with depth of character and animation. This sequel has some incredibly touching moments of reconciliation and sacrifice for others. I highly recommend it.

Product: I like the digital option. This is a big plus for me.
Film: I believe this is a well executed series and Days of Future Past did an excellent job of pulling the pieces together from multiple story lines. I appreciated the contrast between Charles (Prof X) and Eric (Magneto) in the present vs. the past.

What's great about it: Acting, characters, pop culture references
What's not so great: --
Fun film for the whole family. Many nice moments and pop culture references to films such as the Matrix. Voices where fantastic and I took pleasure in new ones popping up ("Oh cool, that's Liam Neeson!!") I truly loved the message in the end - it was a little cheesy and predictable, but timely in today's culture.
What's great about it: Creative way to introduce the cast and move forward
What's not so great: Dear JJ Abrams, enough with the bright flashy lights!
I truly enjoy the Star Trek reboot and the ability to move forward in it's own space time continuum. Star Trek has often had the challenge of moving forward with out disrupting the past ("Tell me again why the new Klingon's have those fantastic ridge lines in their skulls?") With the plot, there is freedom to move without having to spend an over abundant time in looking to the archives ("Oh shoot, I can't do X with that character because in 1969, they the series said they had a childhood incident that made them allergic to Tribbles. There goes the whole screen play!") Add the creative freedom, solid acting, great effects, and wonderful back story on our main characters. Enjoy!
What's not so great: Some die hard Star Trek fans, may feel flustered
I truly enjoy the Star Trek reboot and the ability to move forward in it's own space time continuum. ;-) Some fans of the series look at the plot of this 2nd film and say, "really, you couldn't be more original?" But I am okay with the direction, the alterations and spin put on the Khan character and approach. Sit back, pay attention, and enjoy the growth of the series. :-)
