This is my favorite Lens. It is a bit heavy because it is a quality lens. I would suggest spending the most you can afford for a lens. A great lens will last for years. Nikon has perfected this one.

I always buy a lens filter to protect the lenses. It is cheaper to replace the filter than repair the lens. This sense was fine and works well.

i take pictures for games during the night , is this lens good for taking pictures in low lighting ???

The lens is good at low light as it is a 2.8 lens. Also, adjust the ISO settings to help/
