The "power cord" is a combination USB cable and a charging cable. The S10.5 when connected to a PC acts as an external USB drive. You can transfer files back and forth at will. You can use any micro-USB to USB cable that you have. I have a collection of these from 1 foot to 6 feet long.
However, you can only connect to the Google Play store, the internet, and Apps that need the internet by WiFi. You can use any 5V wall charger device that you happen to have to recharge the device and it will charge the battery when hooked to a "powered" (not through a passive USB hub device) USB jack on a PC.
