I have a RAID 5 for video editing. When I had a drive fail I bought this as a replacement. This is the newer version of the drive 10 drives I have. Seems great so far. I needed to replace quickly and the drive arrived right on time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have an older time capsule - looks a bit like a large Mac Mini - with a 2 TB drive that I feel is having trouble. Does anyone know if this will work as a replacement drive?

I believe that the time capsule uses a 3.5" drive similar to those found in laptops. This is a 5.25" drive more commonly found in desktop machines.
