Needed to update the software to eliminate error in the Bluetooth to my iPhone. Once that was completed, all was well.
I had my heart set on an Alpine but this unit is just as good for less money.

when mounted my tv kkeps drifting to one side, it will not stay where i position it, how can i fix this issue?

Tighten the pivot/swing limit screws on the top or bottom of the arm

I only have one stud available. What would I use to complete the instillation? Is it still safe to mount?

Use wall anchors to get another solid attaching point.
2 attaching points will prevent the mount from pivoting on a single mounting point
