I have 2 laptops and 1 phone , and i move it around all the time so wireless is good. I'm looking for a modem. Any suggestions? I'm a student so cheaper would be fine

i have motorola SB6121 MODEM . WHAT IS A COMPATABLE ROUTER? I HAVE A LINKSYS WIRELESS-G W/SPEED BOOSTER BROADBAND ROUTER MODEL# WRT54GS. I DON'T NEED SOMETHING EXPENSIVE.
Your Linksys may have been a DSL router, technically this could work if configured correctly. Or you could get one of these listed below, easier on the setup portion, starts working as soon as you plug it in.

Can SBG6580 wireless modem be hooked to phone line internet instead of coaxial cable
No, this model will only work with a cable provider. You are looking for a "DSL" modem which will work with Carriers such as Century Link.

I have Time Warner Cable. Trying to get away from renting their modem and my regular router just died, so trying to combine to save money. Will this modem/router combo work?
