I was hesitant to switch to this phone, only due to the larger size. I worried about it so much it delayed my purchase by approx 6 months. However, when my phone started acting unreliably, and there was an awesome Black Friday sale price, I made the plunge. I am so glad I did! I only regret I didn't do it 6 months earlier. The size is just bigger enough to enjoy a bigger screen display, and keyboard. The size is still very manageable. All of the features are similar to the previous Galaxy phone I had, but better. The display is brighter, clearer, the camera better, and the maneuverability improved. I absolutely love this phone and everything about it! I also discovered a free app called Drippler that gives tons of tips on features with this phone. I learn a little more each day what this phone can do, and how to do it. It's awesome.

I would recommend this to a friend!

This is even better than the last Zagg cover I bought a few years ago. I would have transferred it from my old phone, except the phone size had changed. My husband & son both had the same screen cover and theirs got a bit dinged up due to putting it in their pockets along with coins and/or keys. Mine never got dinged (or discolored) because I have a phone pouch in my purse, where I kept it. Still after 2+ years, it did a great job protecting my screen. This one is a harder material, almost like a thin layer of glass, but does the same great job of protecting my screen. The advantage to this cover is that it wipes clean better, when I smudge it with makeup or fingerprints. I love it! I would highly recommend Zagg screen covers! Also, if you fill out the warranty, and something does happen to mess it up, they will replace it with a brand new one.

I wanted a phone case that would protect my phone well, but not look so ugly as the Otter cases. This one is very good. It has thick rubber to protect the phone and is very sturdy. I like that I was able to choose a color/pattern of my choice, rather than just a black or camouflage boring case. I love this case!

If I already have a contract with AT&T does the 49.99 price still apply?

There will be a fee from AT&T even if you are already a customer. Mine was a $40 upgrade/activation fee. They'll find a way to stick a fee in there no matter what.

Can the contract be forward starting

I want to buy the phone for a dollar but i want to give it to a family member for Christmas. So i wouldn't turn the phone on until Christmas Day? can that be done? If i want one for each of my daughters that can't be done, only one phone per customer??

No. I purchased mine at a Best Buy Black Friday sale for $1 and wanted to buy one for my son, and they wouldn't let me take it out of the store without activation. I went ahead and activated the phone & gave it to my son right away, so he could make decisions on the 2 week option to return it, or buy a protection plan for it.
He is absolutely thrilled with the phone and I highly recommend it.
