Purchased at $119 on sale. This speaker has incredible bass at low volume. Love it on the porch relaxing after work. Then I use it as a sound bar inside watching TV. I'm truly impressed!

I picked this up for a 40" TV that had poor speakers. I am very impressed with the power it delivers and use the bluetooth to stream Pandora and I-tunes while watching TV muted. It looks professional and fits perfect. Nice thing to is it allows for a subwoofer and rear speakers if used in a larger room. Price was $129 on sale for $99 and then at checkout it sold for $79. Insignia products have always delivered the quality at a surprisingly low price!

This Vizio Sound Bar looks really good and sounds even better in front of the Vizio 50". Clean, cool, professional... BOOM!! What's really nice is the Bluetooth Subwoofer and rear speakers. No more trying to run wires that are always a pain and in the way. Easy set up. Nice remote. My opinion has always been matching components and Vizio delivers with this Sound Bar and 50", 1080p, 240 hertz, 3D, SMART TV! ....PLEASE... ssssshhh... don't tell my wife... she'll take it!!

Traveling for work, I was in need of a TV & Surround Sound System for my away from home apt. My current TV at the house is a Toshiba, 40",60 hertz I purchased from Best Buy in 2010 for the same price as this Vizio, 50", 240 hertz, Smart, 3D, TV. Both Vizio TV and Vizio Sound Bar were on display and I was instantly impressed. I upgraded the Sound Bar to include the Bluetooth Sub Woofer and rear speakers, BOOM... AWESOME! My wife wanted to take it home and bring back the Toshiba... i don't think so... ssssshhh!!!

I purchased a Sonos play for a Christmas present but apparently they want a bluetooth speaker. Is the quality as good as Sonos quality and is there another option of speaker not necessarily portable for a similar price?
Is there an affordable home theater system with at least a few wireless speakers I can hang on the wall say for under $150?
System does not have to have bells and whistles like an ipod doc but would at least like it to have a dvd player if not a blu-ray. I would also enjoy a remote with it. I just do not want tacky wire streaming from my tv up my walls where I want to place some of my speakers the rear ones can be connected that does not bother me.
Vizio Soundbar with Bluetooth Subwoofer and rear speakers. $250 though. Worth every penny. No dvd player. Get a Sony PS4. No better blu-ray on the market AND you've got a gaming system. Use your Best Buy no interest card and start enjoying. No, I don't work for Best Buy, THEY work for me!

Depending on your budget is the real question. Best Buy Geek Squad can help you with your questions,decisions and professional installation. For me I'd choose BOSE, never a second thought. Bose has several systems. You will NOT be disappointed. Just make sure you got plenty of Popcorn and Cherry Coke... hee hee! No, I don't work for Best Buy, THEY work for me.

With your remote, you should be able go to Settings, Sound and turn on the TV speakers, depending on how the Menu is set up on your TV. You can always YouTube your questions as well.

Does the system work without the two rear speakers plugged into the wireless sub?
I was considering buying this system but was thinking about my current home theater set up and didn't know if I have the space to utilize the two rear surround speakers. I was wondering if the system functioned as a 3.1 if you didn't use the two rear surrounds? I like this system over the 2.1 but might not use the rears at first. Can anyone help me with this question.
Sure, don't plug in the rears if you don't want them.

No sound from wireless subwoofer
Yep, me too. Make sure you got power and rear speakers are connected. Then get your remote. Press Menu. First make sure the Remote is ON. Press the arrow up button directly under the Menu button, until you see Prg Remote. Do that. Then go to BT Pair(Bluetooth) and do that. Go to Surround On/Off and turn on. You should be good. No? Now you must cycle through the Remote to the different options of preference. You can set the volume levels to the front, rear and Subwoofer. If they're all the way down you must adjust. Watch the Soundbar lights, double lights are normal settings. Night and Tru Volume also can give you a fit. Adjust until your system connects. You can also go to YouTube for additional help.
