Cannot use at all the cd player.

What's great about it: Back-light on keyboard
What's not so great: n/a
Am so used to having a keyboard to use with my laptop & pc that when I got the tablet as a present, having to use the virtual keyboard became problematical especially when I did not touch the keys in the right way. Also appreciate the ease of connecting the keyboard to the tablet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is the type 2 cover compatible with the original Surface pro?

Believe so because when I purchased the unit I was told it was compatible with all surface tablets.
