I love this, but unfortunately the corners give out in time because they are a hard plastic. This is the fourth one I have purchased in two years plus I also bought a Zagg and that only lasted three weeks. The Logitech is much stronger than the Zagg brand. Be sure to take out the insurance for $15.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second Logitech keyboard. It has larger keys than most. The trouble I've had in the past was the plastic corner on the upper left side broke off. The company replaced it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can you change the color of the backlight?

I have seen some keyboard case do that and wasn't sure if it was this one or not.
On Logitech brand there is no backlight.

does the keyboard automatically shut down when you close it? or do you have to select the "on-off" switch each time?

I'm just wondering if you leave it "on" will it continue to drain the battery, or does it automatically turn off like the iPad does?
You have to manually turn it off.

Stable on lap/table?

If using on you lap, will the case fall over if your hands are not on the keyboard. People have mentioned, with other brands, that the weight of the top portion causes the case to fall over and is better on a flat surface.
Logitech brand is very stable when on your lap, but remember if you move it could tip. A hard surface is always better.

Does this keyboard/case fit the ipad air 2 or just the original ipad air?

The specs in the description say this keyboard/case is for the ipad air, but it doesn't mention that it is compatible with the ipad air 2, so I am asking this question.
No, it's only for IPad Air, they make another one for IPad Air 2. Other brands make them for IPad Air 2 also.. When you go to buy one, be sure the box says for IPad Air 2.
