Yes, you will need a computer or iPad, download the overdrive app, you will also need a Amazon account, and a library card. Amazon has an instuction book to walk you through the process. Goog luck.

Will it charge in UK
I am coming to USA in a few weeks if I buy this will I be able to charge it via a plug socket in the UK and does the charging cable for the Kindle 4th fit this one?
It will charge anywhere in the world, you must buy a universal charging adapter, Best Buy carrys them.
