What's great about it: Noise cancelling feature and pack-ability
What's not so great: Initial cost
A bit pricey but worth every cent. I travel significantly for work. I love my Beats and still use them at work, but got tired of packing them for business trips--too bulky. The Bose 20i are now my most essential travel tool that let me escape the world around me whenever and wherever I need or want . They are great for use with the phone, particularly long conference calls that must be done from less than stellar locations from a background noise perspective. Love both the sound and pack-ability that I decided to buy a second pair for my wife to help keep her sane on our recent overseas trip--well worth the investment.
This product has... Perfect fit, pack-ability, rechargeable, incredible sound and noise cancelling

RE: noise cancellation quality when not listening to music

My main purpose for buying noise canceling headphones is not to listen to music without distractions, but to have peace and quiet while not listening to music. Peace. Quiet. No music, either. So, how well does the noise cancellation perform when not listening to any music? When not listening to music, will conversations be blocked out? Or, do they perform better with reducing noises like air conditioner units, subway sounds, but do not do well with blocking out human speech?
I use them all the time when traveling. Especially on long haul or transatlantic flights where I use them unplugged from a device to drown out the environmental noise and enable me enough peace to sleep. Helps block out (or reduce enough) engine noise, conversation and crying babies.

Is it compatible with iphone and ipad wall chargers ?

Yes. I use my iPhone charger with the cord I also use for my mophie case (same connection as for 20i and supplied cord) all the time when traveling and unable to recharge off of my computer's USB.
