What's great about it: compact size perfect for bedroom, smart tv features
What's not so great: stand angles back about 5-10 degrees.
Picked this tv up as a replacement tv for the bedroom and specifically wanted a smart tv. They aren't easy to find under 32" or at this price. Great buy so far

What's great about it: Easy to install, Low Price
What's not so great: Connection, Media Server
I was excited to see an AC router at such a low price and thought I'd give it a shot since I know someone with a Belkin setup that they really love.
The setup process was painless and very simple. Even if you do not have the level of comfort I have in setting up networks. The range on the router was adequate and the dashboard was very easy to access and navigate.
Heres what I had a problem with. My devices would not stay connected. My mobile phones would drop the signal at random and even though the network was still listed as in range it would not connect until I power cycled the router. I had the same issue eventually with every device on the network even those that were wired directly to the router.
My second issue was the media server software buyilt in to the router. It would constantly "index" the drive. Which would slow the connection of everything on the router to a standstill for several minutes at a time. And every time I had to restart the router it would have to do this again.
I eventually had to return the device and go with another router.
This product has... Unreliable connection, Secure connection, Easy to set up
About me... Heavy media streamer, Technology guru
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Will this router work for windows 8?

Yes absolutely. Essentially any router currently on the shelf will work with Windows 8

Does this product also act as the modem?

To produce at home WiFi, will I also need a modem or does this unit act as a modem and a wireless router?
No this unit is just the router. You will still need to either purchase or lease the actual modem from your broadband provider
