I have had Garmin GPS units for many years and have found them to be very accurate and easy to use. I like the large screen on this unit and the split screen on off ramps. Nice to use to find restaurants and places of interest while traveling.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this for my son in high school. So far he has really liked it. It is nice that he can use it as a laptop or a tablet. He likes the great HD picture and the touchscreen. Pentium i5 processor with 8gb memory is just what he needs to multi-task. He likes the Dragon speak that came with it, where he can speak and it types for him. Newest AC wireless connectivity (3x faster than wireless N) 1 gb hardrive for lots of storage space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I HAVE 3 OF THESE - ONE FOR MY WIFE AND ONE FOR MY SON AND DAUGHTER IN COLLEGE. IT IS EASY TO SET UP AND PRINTS VERY WELL FOR A GREAT PRICE. YOU CAN ALSO SCAN OR COPY WITH IT. THE BEST PART IS THAT YOU CAN SEND INFO DIRECTLY TO THE PRINTER WITHOUT GOING THROUGH A NETWORK AND DO SO WITH YOUR COMPUTER, TABLET OR PHONE.

Yes this could be used on a bicycle. It is battery powered (last over 2 hours) It can also be plugged into power supply in car or portable battery pack with usb plug or regular power just like a phone.

can you print via bluetooth without being on the same wireless network?

Can this print via Bluetooth vs. being on a college wireless network?
With this printer you can connect wirelessly without a network (not Bluetooth). You connect directly to it like you would to a wireless network. You can print from a computer, phone, or tablet.

What kind of USB cable is required to purchase?

Is it a standard USB to USB?
It is a regular USB printer cable. one end is square like in nature and then a regular USB on the other end. If you have a cable from another printer it should work. This printer does not require a cable you can print wirelessly over wifi through a network or direcly even without a wifi network.
