I love my Fitbit One. It's so easy to use and doesn't show under clothing, unless it's a really clingy item (a concern prior to purchase), but there are several options where it can be attached to clothing. We live in a multi-level townhouse and I wanted to be able to track stairs as well as steps and distance, which is one reason why I chose the Fitbit over other brands. I also have very small wrists and the wrist models felt too large and bulky for me. I did discover that WoCase makes a wristband that will hold the Fitbit One, adding yet another wearing option (although it is also a bit large on my wrist). The sleep tracking turned out to be more informative than I anticipated and the weight and food tracking are a really helpful bonus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

HOW TO WEAR THE DEVICE

Can you clip the Fitbit - One to a lanyard that you wear around the neck? I have to wear a lanyard with a work ID and this would be great if it worked this way. It would e with me all the time. Thank you.
Probably. But it might over track your steps since any swinging motion of your lanyard would confuse it into thinking you were walking. Depending on the style of your lanyard there may not be a place where it would securely clip. The clip is about 1/2-inch wide and is fairly snug.

Can young children wear this?

I can't see why not, but they would need to be careful not to accidentally push the clip off of their clothing. It only happened to me once in the 2 months I've owned this, but it did happen. Also you would need to take care that it doesn't end up in the laundry should they forget to unclip it from their clothing.

I don't have a computer. I have iPhone & iPad mini. How would I charge the one if can not plug into a computer?

You can plug the short charging cord into the USB outlet plug that you use to charge your iPhone.
