This washing machine has great capacity. The clothes come out cleaner and softer using the same detergent as before. My only problem is having to stand on tiptoe to reach the bottom of the tub, but the extra stretch is worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This unit is great- and we signed up for the automatic ink refill offered by HP. Not only are the scans and prints very high quality, but the machine notifies HP when to send us more ink! The ink arrives at our door, which is nice- especially if you happen to run out of ink at an inconvenient hour.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: it doesn't require resetting after a power outage
What's not so great: it's not very pretty
This little clock radio provides a big digital display, a selection of background noises, and is synched up so that when the power goes out and then comes back on, there is no need to reset the time. It packs a lot into such a small package. Boxy and functional-looking, it's not a pretty little focal-point in a room, but does the job very well.

What's great about it: it's cordless, lightweight, and has a dust-buster
What's not so great: it doesn't have the suction power of a larger model
This is the perfect vacuum cleaner for my student son's studio apartment. It takes up very little space, has a detachable dust-buster for spill clean up, and the color is quite cheerful. While it doesn't have the power of a larger vacuum cleaner, the carpeted area is small enough so that it is clean in less than two minutes. The hard floor areas (kitchen and bath) take only another minute, and the job is done- long before the battery charge and my son's willingness to do household chores run out.

Does the front loaders have issues with mold?

Yes! The front loader we had before buying this top loader had mold. This was due to the bad drain pump design. The wash/rinse water was pumped out, but could not be completely emptied. Once the mold started growing on the stagnant dirty water, it could not be eliminated. We even replaced the drain pump (which had been redesigned), but the moldiness stayed.

How does this washer clean compared to a front loader

Everywhere I read that front loaders clean better than he top loaders. Is this true for this specific washer as well?
I had an HE front loader that was terrible. The clothes were not cleaner- and they always smelled moldy. (This was due to the drain pump design that never fully emptied the unit.) We replaced the drain pump, which had been redesigned, but at 5 years of age, the machine developed problem after problem and was not worth spending another cent to repair it. The front loader that is used in industrial settings, say at a hotel or a Laundromat, may do the best job, but the average consumer can't get one of those.
I am very happy with this top loading HE washing machine. My clothes are cleaner, softer, and fresher-smelling. I can fit a lot into it, and the load does not unbalance easily.

Unbalanced load

1. If load becomes unbalanced will washer shut off automatically to prevent damage?
2. If load becomes unbalanced will an alarm sound to alert you?
1.) Yes, the washer stops, but doesn't shut off completely. It flashes an unbalanced code so you can rearrange the load and then hit start to resume the cycle. Once unbalanced, a little shifting of the wet clothes won't do- you must unload practically all of it and re-distribute the weight. (I found this out the hard way.) That said, it takes a pretty big weight disparity before the washer stops.
2.) This I cannot answer since my washer is in the basement and I generally don't hear it at all.
