This small unit has a very clean sound and plenty of power for a smaller room. For those who like a lot of bass, there's plenty with the bass boost function. I run my tv through the aux input and am pleasantly surprised at the quality. The radio, bluetooth and cd all function just as well. I can't comment on the usb input as I haven't had a need to use it. The only small drawback is the lack of an equalizer. although you still have some bass and treble control. For the price it's definitely an above average performer. I listen to many styles of music and I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

It's an ok case to keep your camera out of the elements. It has a side zipper pocket for extra cards and battery. No real padding to speak of, just something to keep it dry and out of the dust basically.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm pretty happy with this camera. It has above average features for this price. There's some color distortion in low light, no flash shots, but that's a fairly common problem. The flash is awkwardly located where your left hand naturally grabs the camera, but it's fairly easy to get used to. Nice zoom, very good color and sharpness w/adequate light. Light and thin with which is what I was looking for in a point and shoot. I'm not big on effects or scenes but there's plenty of those to play with. The video quality is quite good for this level of camera too.

I've had good experiences with WD external drives and this is no exception. The ability to encrypt the drive and no separate power supply are the main reasons I chose this. The compact size is another benefit. I don't use the software that comes with it, but some may find it useful.

Can I connect the stereo to my TV and listen to my TV/DVD player through the speakers?

Yes by using the auxiliary input. You may need to get an adapter cable.

Can I connect a turntable and play vinyl records?

You should be able to use a Y adapter (two female RCA plugs to a 3.5mm male) and plug it into the auxiliary port.
